More indie galleries are on the move.

Since 2008, Co-Lab has presented a breathtakingly busy roster of short-term site-specific projects at its rangy East Austin warehouse.

Now, new rebranded as Co-Lab Projects, the nonprofit organization led by Sean Gaulager, has partnered with downtown architecture firm Nelsen Partners to provide an additional exhibition site called N Space.

N Space will utilize parts of the Nelsen Partners nifty building at Ninth Street and Congress Avenue, to present works by Co-Lab Projects artists and affiliates. The new endeavor will complement work Co-Lab will continue to do in its original location. Nelsen Partners is at 905 Congress Ave.

The inaugural N Space exhibit is “Row Home” featuring paintings, drawings and multimedia work by Austin artist Mark Johnson.

It’ll will open in tandem with the West Austin Studio Tour, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 19-20. Admission is free.
